Funding support

WINZ supported dental care

Paying for dental care can be hard. As a Work and Income (WINZ) registered provider, we help eligible patients get financial assistance for essential dental treatment.

What is WINZ dental assistance?

If you are on a low income or receiving a benefit, Work and Income may help pay for urgent or necessary dental treatment, such as:

  • Extractions and emergency pain relief
  • Fillings, root canal treatment and other essential care
  • Dentures and other prosthetics (in some cases)

How to apply

  1. Book a consultation: we examine your teeth and work out what treatment you need
  2. Get a WINZ quote: we prepare a detailed treatment quote for you to give to Work and Income
  3. Apply for assistance: submit the quote to WINZ, who may cover part or all of the cost depending on your eligibility
  4. Start treatment: once your application is approved, we can begin your care

Need help with your application?

Our team is happy to help with the WINZ process. If you have questions or aren't sure how to submit your quote, just ask. Don't put off treatment you need. Book a consultation and we'll get your quote started.

Common questions

Do I need approval before my first appointment?+
No. You need a quote from us in order to apply, so the examination comes first. Tell us when you book that you will be applying to WINZ.
How much will WINZ pay?+
That is determined by Work and Income based on your circumstances, and there is an annual limit for emergency dental grants. We cannot approve or guarantee funding, only provide the quote.
Can I use WINZ assistance and a payment plan together?+
Often yes. If a grant does not cover the full cost, we can discuss Q Card or Afterpay for the remainder. See our payment and finance options.
